What exactly is a Biosonic and what does it do?

Biosonix. It's like an under water speaker system. I puts off sounds of bait fish in distress and bait fish being eaten

sounds kinda like cheating to me

I have heard of that, but never seen one in use or know anyone that has one. Is that deal a gimmick or does it really work?

Kevin Van Dam uses it, or has one on his boat least. Doesn`t really seem right to me either, but its not against the rules.

Yes KVD swears by it he says it makes it easier to activate the school.

How is it cheating? Any one can buy one. If that's cheating then so is side imaging,300's and fish attractants. I guess when guys hunt they don't use calls either.it all boils down to who's got the cash to blow on that stuff.

I bought a Biosonix when they 1st came out. I couldnt wait to fish my next tournament (It was a club open)
I turned it on, Tried all the different sound settings at different times, at 1:00pm I had zero fish (Not even a bite) I turned it OFF and was able to get 2 fish in the boat by the 3pm weigh in.
It was almost like as soon as i turned it off is when i started catching fish.
I returned it to the store for a refund the next day.
since then i have heard there is a lot more to using them then just turning them on. you have to actually customize and master the settings and how you use it kind of like learning how to read your depth finder.
I would still rather invest money on a new side image. i do think they offer an advantage.

I don't have one so no dog in this fight, but like dog food shaped like tbones I believe it's marketed to catch the fisherman not the fish..............
