Kevin Smith @ Shamrock Rods is good, fast, affordable. He ALSO builds custom rods/rod repairs 817-219-3049.

Big Johns in Weatherford also. 817-597-8273.

Either one of them.

Thanks for the recommendation but I got away from working on reels back in March to focus more on the rod business. Y’all don’t forget about Shawn Smith. Another good option for reel servicing. thumb

RT in Yantis. Been doing them for 20 years or so. Business is called Tackle Right. 903-850-8292.

Someone around the lake started a rumor that RT has cancer and is quitting. NOT TRUE. He is fine and still fixing reels for just about everyone I know. And I know a lot of bass fisherman.

He also does mail order as well.
