Anyone fished Squaw Creek lately...I wanted to run down on Father's Day and take my Dad out on the water. I know this is likely not peak season for Squaw, but at least I'm not fighting the recreational boaters on my home lake.

Also, any preferred local hotels in Glen Rose that are fisherman friendly with electric hook up and overall boat security?

Any other input is much appreciated.

Thanks for any feedback...

Launch and turn right out of the cove... go all the way back until you see the marked boat lanes... fish that area and back to the creek...tx rig plastics and a pearl white shallow running crankbait will catch a lot of bass... most will be in the 1-3 pound range. Good luck
