Moved close to Somerville and want to learn to catch large mouth there. Have had a lot of luck with White Bass but cant seem to figure out largemouth. Any help would be appreciated.

there are a ton of videos on you tube....some are commercial and some are individual. you should be able to figure out a lot watching the videos. I am by no means an expert and spend more time on fayette than somerville

Ive only been in Texas about a month but Ive found and stumbled across some good bites on Somerville.
For starters look at the desktop version of google earth and find the historical maps and go look at 2011. It shows all the high spots (shoals, points, sandbars) and I would start there. Been catching them on vibrating jigs, rattle traps and shakes head. The fish Ive been catching arnt as deep as I would have thought but I do know if you find the bait the fish are around them somewhere. Hope that helps
