Good afternoon all,
I’m heading to amistad in a couple weeks for the first time in over 10 years. I’ve only fished it once. If anyone has any tips on what to use and where let me know. I catch and release only and am very environmentally aware. Thanks in advance!

If it's wet I'll Fish it.

It's been a while since I've been but last time I was there we caught fish anywhere we found grass. San Pedro area is always good, good luck

I was down about 3 wks ago and had a good time catching them on drop
shot and T rig sankos. Caught nice size stripe wking a long point with a little John DD.
Out of all the DS wked the best. I was blk brush and Exxon cove and one other just south of Exxon just before the 90 bridge. Enjoy and have fun!

I have caught my best fish on secondary main lake points most on swim baits like Big Dippers.
