used mine yesterday for the 1st time. When I let off the gas it would continue to run. Then I would tap the gas and it would stop. Is this normal? I am hoping it's just me and I need to hit some button or something. Any advice?

Only issue Ive had with mine, the coiled wire came apart from both ends. I had to disassemble the plugs to get everything back together like it should be. That was a pain in the butt.

I'll post this again for others to see.
The momentary switch that is staying on problem is easily fixed, the switch needs to be adjusted. There is a reed switch (magnetic switch) under foot button. Pop off the foot button carefully by depressing tab underneath momentary button. Once the button is off you will see the reed switch (small round thing) you adjust by pushing it down or up. You will need to push it down just a tiny bit so reed switch doesn't make as much contact when not depressed so it will turn off. I use a flat blade screwdriver. Only move a tiny bit. Little goes a long way. After adjustment pop momentary button back on and try it. You may have to adjust a couple times to get it right. But simple to do.

I didn't know what was going on with mine today. I was stuck in circles.....kinda suck when bed fishing. Haha. I broke one of the steering cables. Looks like an easy enough fix. $44 shipped. I figured it was my fault. Not even gonna bother with a warranty. It'd cost more in gas and down time to take it in.
Cool thing, even with broken cables, I continued to fish with the remote. Try that with any other TM.
