Went out there today
Caught a few on the split shot fluke, even caught one on a popping frog. Was a grind though, my biggest went about 4lb.

Better than working i suppose

Don't sweat it. Fork is usually a grind for most people, especially those that show up a few times a year.

Highly pressured Florida strain bass that are trying to spawn can result in very tough fishing.

That said, any cast can be a trophy and any creek or spot can be loaded with fish.
