Need suggestions on footwear for the cold wet days. 100 mph suit is great but if my feet get wet and cold then I'm still heading back to the ramp. What do you guys wear to keep feet warm and dry? Prefer something at Bass Pro since I have a GC to use.

Get some under armor cold gear socks and a pair of sportsman waterproof boots. All at bass pro. Works great!

i have a pair of redhead waterproof insulated boots from bass pro shops...under 75$ ...work great for the cold weather ...just be careful on the trolling motor if you are used to wearing tennis shoes...the boots are like skis on a wet trolling motor pedal...also if you are going to be wearing multiple pairs of socks like i somethimes do make sure they have enough room for it

I have some Irish Setter boots similar to these except mine only have 200 gram thinsulate and my feet never got cold all day Sat. or Sun.

Might be a little bulky but waders, especially if there is a chance for rain and a "roller" coming over the deck or splashing. Can't afford to get your clothes wet or then you are toast.

I bought some Red Head 8" Mt. Zuni Pac boots at Bass Pro and they keep my feet very warm. Reg. $79.99 on sale for $49.99. Waterproof and 400 grams of thinsulate ultra insulation.

I have not had the chance to fish in cold weather yet, but I do have to work in extreme cold weather and I work on Apache helicopters which have very little room to move around and a slip could be fatal. The new army cold weather boots are made of Gortex, 100% water proof and extremely warm. My feet sweat in 10 degrees weather with regular socks. And they grip surfaces well. You can find them at most army surplus stores or army surplus sites for 60-80 dollars. Hope it helps.

I have a phobia of boots in a boat.If you do wear boots never take your PFD off.You can't swim in boots.I use "after ski" foam boots. They are very warm, water resistant, and slip on and off very easily. They only cost about $20 too.

+2 on the PFD. I wear mine all of the time in the winter because if the water is cold, boots or not, your muscles will retract and you will not be able to swim very well.

I'm glad to see someone else thinks this way. I was seeing all the post on these bulky lace up boats. I hope everyone who wears those keeps their PFD on at all times. I have a cheap pair of slip on ski boots that i got at army-navy store. The stay warm and dry and if I go in i can kick them off with no problem.
