I am looking for a different lake to fish this weekend to avoid the Fork crowd.
Has anyone been on Caddo in the last few days?
I know that in a warmer year the vegetation would be an issue this late but with cooler weather I wonder if the growth is behind normal. Water level is also a question.
One more question. I have not been on Caddo in several years. We used to go to Uncertain to launch. Where do you launch now?

you can launch in Uncertain. Shady Glade or Johnsons. I haven't fished it but I see Paul Keith's Guide page on facebook, and he's been filling 20+ lb best 5 sacks for several weeks. i would imagine with the high water, that fishing is top notch right now.

Water is high and slowly falling. This flood has really pushed a lot of salvania out of the lake and the fishing is great because we can now access areas we couldnt before. The lake is rather busy due to people seeing what Paul is doing. Most of all launches will be open also. Stay shallow and cover water. Once u get bit they seem be holding in those areas pretty good
