Anyone been up in the river the last couple days? I know a lot of the lake is real muddy right now, only clearer water I’ve found is mid lake. Just wondering if it’s worth the trek to the river.

There was a notice and caution out months ago that lots of construction going on in that area with big machinery. Apparently a big project of some kind maybe a road or transmission lines.

Was up there Sunday and the water is really moving, Lavon gates are wide open. fish were not in the mood that day. The construction is the power line poles are being replaced. you can still get around them. Water temps are still a little bit low in the mid 50's last weekend. The lake was falling and the fishing was slow, lake is .16 feet high as of 5 am this morning, lake dropped 1/2 foot last weekend. which will slow the bite down. good luck I will be there the next 2 Saturdays.
