Any one know what’s up with orange barrier on the southern arm of Lake Naconiche?

The giant salvinia mats are brown. Is that due to cold weather or is the city spraying the stuff?

Any idea on these issues?

The back end of that arm is full of Salvinia and I guess they want to keep it contained instead of getting blown all over the main lake. And I think TPWD was out there a month or two ago and I'm pretty sure they were releasing Weavels to try and combat the problem. (not 100% sure on that tho).
