Going up there for work next week thinking I will have Saturday and Sunday off anyone know of a guide? I’ve looked all I can find is saltwater guides would rather fish fresh water for bass. But if you have a good salt water guide that would be fine as well.

I would drive a little less than 2 hours north to Santee Cooper. Don't have any guide recommendations, but there will be plenty available.

I recommend you look for a redfish trip! If you’ve never done it, it’s like catching bass (shallow) on steroids! Lol

I was stationed in Savanna at Hunter Army Airfield about fifty yrs ago. There were private lakes that weren't far away, i think it was Carter lakes. It might still be in business and you will get you arm broke there. They had boats for rent Good luck
