Just got the boat out of the shop so me and a buddy are going to try to get on a few tomorrow. Haven't been out in about two weeks or so. With the cold front blowing through, it's supposed to be cloudy and in the 50s all day with very little wind. Where would y'all recommend fishing right now? Looking to stay within an hour or so of DFW.

Good day for a power plant lake and Welch is the best right now. Around an hour you're looking at Tawakoni, Cedar Creek or Ray Roberts. Me, I'd get up 30 minutes earlier and go to Welch.

I'm fishing Hubbard in the morning but if I had more time I'd be fishing Tawakoni.
