We fish them and it's not a bad deal, met lots of very nice folks and well run. Championship last week was fun and lots of beer drinkin. We won't fish them next year because of schedule with other stuff. You will have fun and meet lots of really nice people.

Congratulations to all. Joefishhunter you will love it. I fished CAST for many years and I miss it. I suspect that Texas Bass Couples is also a well run organization.

We fish with them. Butch and Cindy were the reason I gave CAST another shot years back and we just followed them since they do such a great job.
Not sure what your looking for. Most everyone is friendly, the rules are solid, payback is what you'd expect. They are always trying to become better as a trail and you can make some really good friends through it. Some people take it seriously/competitive but most just fish and have a good time.
They are having an "Early bird" tourney on Athens October 28, bring the wife and try it out.
