Caught a bunch at Athens today....9 total. Nothing over 2 lbs....they were eating Flukes, brush hogs, and 10" power worms.
Still better than not fishing.

I was on wax Sunday. Had a really good day. Next time, try swim baits along the grass and flip jigs at REALLY shallow lay downs.

There will be some small ones to be sure, but the occasional bigger fish will show up.

Fished Belton Saturday and we caught 11 fish, 7 in the first hour on the lake,
and only one was over 14 inches.
The rest were between 12.5 and 13.5

So there are at least ten out there that need to grow for next year.
