Hi All,
Planning to hit Pines in the morning. How has the fishing been recently? It's been about 3 weeks since I've been. We were catching fish in the bushes and on the outside of flooded needle grass. At .4 high now, I'm wondering if the fish have pulled out of the bushes or does that give them just enough to hang around?
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the tip. I was trying to figure out if I needed to fish North or South. I've been fishing North most of my trips for a couple of years now, so I'm very familiar with the area. Do you know if the hyacinth has started growing back? There was a ton last year but not much earlier this year.

We got to Cedar Springs ramp a little after 6 this morning. We headed north of the bridge and pitched bushes around one of the islands. I think we caught 3 there between 1.5 and 2.5 pounds. We went north from there and tried the c-rig and crankbait off a large point. Nada.
Went further north to a spot we've caught them before. Hit a good looking pad field with active fish. Missed one on a swim jig as it was sliding off one of the pads. Missed another good fish on a frog. Caught two in the pads. One on a creature bait and one on a fluke. Tried several different techniques and just couldn't figure out how to make them commit.
Headed to Medlin Creek. Pitched a bunch of bushes. Caught two. I think we had 7 or 8 by 11:00 ish.
Kept hitting different spots and finally found some bushes with a little deeper water holding fish. Also found some active fish in about 3.5 foot of water. Between pitching bushes, trap, 1.5 square bill, c-rig fluke I think we ended up with around 20 fish. Biggest 4 pounds pitching.
I think they probably bit pretty good today somewhere, but we never really found the bigger fish.
