What are some of the top fishing spots in Texas with 3 plus feet of water clarity? Looking to get out of the East Texas area I fish Fork, Tawakoni, Winsborro, Quitman and Cooper Lakes a lot all of which are pretty poor in the ways of clarity but great fishing lakes nonetheless any advice is welcome and anecdotes are well received.

Thanks

Texoma and Ray Roberts when the wind and rain eases off.

Lake o the Pines seems to be pretty clear in the areas where there is a lot of vegetation. Once the grass is gone its a mud hole.

It's in east texas but Kurth Lake between Lufkin and Nac is the clearest I've ever seen.

If you are in East Texas and want some crazy water clarity go look at Welsh. There are some places you can see the bottom in 6 feet of water.

He said he wants to get out of East Texas. You can see bottom in 20' at Amistad. Any of the limestone lakes are going to be much more clear than East Texas.

Could see bottom in 10ft at Ray Roberts by the dam last weekend. PK is always super clear. Texoma, and even Bonham had at least 3ft visibilty last time I was there which was mid-April

Wheeler, but they shut it down to boat traffic. Only canoes and yaks now.

PK isn't clear after that last go rounds of rain. Going to take a couple of weeks to get back to it.

Clark normally has 10-15 feet of crystal clear water....but not so much lately.

Amistad is the clearest I've seen in Texas. Keep in mind clear water generally means tougher fishing.
