I haven't fished it in a few years but it's always been pretty good for me.My uncle lives in Tow so we always fished the Paradise point, silver creek area. Be careful is all I can say, that thing can get ROUGH in a hurry!!!

There are some Austin fishing forums you can check out that will have some info about Buchanan, I haven't fished in since last fall and I moved. Recent tournament there took about 23# to win. Since the lake came up the flooded bushes have been the deal. Jigs, shakey heads, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, t-rigs can all be winners at times.

Was never able to get on a good deep water bite, but there are rock piles to find that do hold good groups of fish.

LBJ is good bet for you as well and closer possibly.
