What are your tactics after the big rain we got in the dallas area the past few days? Lakes are now high and very muddy. What should I try out today. Please educate me!

Very shallow, noisy or bright.

Even better, wait until they stabilize a little bit.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Well I'm going out on hubbard today. I guess I'll be throwing a hatterbait around most of the time but I was really looking forward to trying to catch them deep. Guess that will have to wait

They are going to be up on the banks. Their vision is limited and their environment is now completely different. Also, their typical food is more disperse.

I had decent luck yesterday on a green watermelon color zoom. It was real muddy.

As ReelTexan said, sound usually work best with muddywater. Since their site is limited they start hunting with other senses.

I believe you get a better chance at landing a HAWGS when the water is high and muddy.
