A good friend of mine just bought a 2017 Skeeter 21' Limited Edition and we took it out on the water for the first time yesterday. How long will it take before we stop hearing things like hey, make sure your cigar ashes make it outside the boat, wipe your feet dude, don't step there, did I hear a lure hit the boat, don't let the fish hit the carpet, its bleeding don't lift it in and if it all doesn't go in the water then don't [censored] off the boat. Sheesh you would think he just spent a small fortune or something.

Is this supposed to be sarcastic? If your seriously asking these questions about your buddy, . I'm taking it as sarcasm. But if not he literally did spend a small fortune.

When he puts the first scratch in the gel-coat himself, SOME of those will stop... But he will be

I am guessing chart spike it is not allowed in the boat! My SIL spilled some on the seat of my old boat Saturday, I said oops and kept fishing. If it was a new boat I would have been really mad!

As soon as he gets hung up in stump field a few times and when he figures out that fish blood cleans up or fades out pretty good he'll lighten up. If this doesn't happen then he may not be much of a fisherman.
He did spend a small fortune for that little toy though.

Till he tells you to buy your own! Lol I won't lie, I was pretty tough for about the first 6 months. I still won't let muddy shoes or bleeding fish in. I'm not going to go crazy if a little gets in. Just put some lake water on it and scrub a little and it's gone. The ashes is one that I won't ever let go. I don't smoke and I dang sure don't want burn marks in my carpet

I'm sure he will lighten up soon. We will be taking it to the Arkansas River bass tourney this June and we will be hitting stumps. He's a great guy and we will do everything possible to help him keep it up.

ever notice there are three groups of fishermen at a tournament of any size.....one group is up real close to the stage getting ready to collect their checks.. you go look at their boats and there will be torn-up plastics busted spinnerbaits,hooks,weights and assorted trash in bottom of the boat,probably a muddy footprint or two and a scum line and scratches around the hull and motor.....
second group of guys is back in the audience a little trying to learn how the check collectors caught their fish and their boats are almost as dirty and scratched up as the check collectors...
third group of guys is over in corner of parking lot detailing their boats inside and out prior to driving home...
