What are y'all running on the front for a graph? Mine just went out and I'm looking to upgrade. Do y'all run SI and DI or what?
Thanks for any info also post any pics also for mounting.

I was running DI.....I switched back to Sonar last weekend. I found that I was always switching it to Sonar anyways. The US2 on the new trolling motor sealed the deal. It isn't compatible with DI and I was getting major interference with the Ultrex. So....moved the DI to the console with the SI and problem solved.

I use Sonar far more than DI when it was a combo unit up front. I guess I like to see arches and bottom hardness. The DI doesn't show either.

I use either SI or 360 at the bow. I already know from my SI console units where the fish are and what the bottom is like before I move to the bow.
I want to see where the fish are as I am trying to catch them.
I don't use DI at all for fishing and don't use 2D much either except to determine if a catch attempt is warranted using the FishID.

I would suggest a bridge type mount for the bow due to shock loads from waves/wakes.

I split screen with the 2d Stacked over the DI. Helps me decipher brush piles and what not's easier.

Sonar and mapping most of the time, I run DI when fishing underwater bridges or a bigger area. My DI shows the back of the boat so if I am looking at both I can see the front and back and get a little better boat positioning

I have an Onix 8 set up with TM mounted 360 on the front. Putting the Helix 10 G2n mega Si on the console next week.

If I were upgrading I would go with a Helix 9 on the bow and a 10 on the console.

I don't see how SI would really be useful on the bow. I use mapping and sonar 90% of the time, and mapping and DI the rest. If price is not an issue I would be running Garmin Panoptix on the bow, hands down.

Helix 12 DI G2N with the 3 way split of Map, 2D, and DI. All you need in one

Never use SI up front and very rarly DI either. It's mainly chart and 2D.

I am running a Helix 12 GN2 SI Mega up front, mostly I run the map/2d or map/DI with a Navionics card, but there are times that I do use Side Scan say when fishing scattered brush or trying to locate scattered brush around existing located piles. This allows me to just speed up the TM a little and scan around vs having to crank the big motor, but like I said above I prob use that combo 80% of the time, with the 2D being used more than DI depending on what lake I am on.

Lowrance 12 gen 3. Chart and 2D split on the bow graph. Rarely anything else.
