Since you asked for "Recommendations", I would recommend Angler's Inn. Here's why: I have always wanted to try one of the "Big Bass" lakes in Mexico for a long time, and during my research, I reviewed all the outfitters & lakes I could find. It seemed, from my research, that El Salto was consistently turning out bigger fish. About the time I settled on El Salto, I came across a "Special" they were offering for couples. Booked it for myself & wife (girlfriend at the time). She had been to many of the fancy Mexican resorts in her life, and says that she's NEVER been to a place with better food, service, and all around better treatment in her life. They are fantastic.
The fishing. Well, here's a little taste:

I went to Anglers Inn in March. Anglers was extremely nice and very good guides. I have not been to Ron Speeds place, they are next to each other on the lake. But I will gladly endorse Anglers Inn as a 5 Star resort and operation. I plan on going back once a yr for the rest of my life.

Went with pro bass adventures. Had a hell of a time would do it again in a heart beat. Pro bass was also one of the cheapest. Anglers inn is very nice but also very expensive

It doesn't really matter where or who you go with in Mexico, the fishing there is awesome.
El Salto and Bacarac - are the best places for big fish.
Oviachic is the best for the price - 6.5 days and its cheaper than what you pay for 3 days at the other places.
The only knock is you need to drive in, they just don't have the accommodations to pick you up at an airport, It's a long drive, but well worth it, and don't listen to the media - Mexico loves tourists!
On a bad day you will catch 60 fish per boat, on a good day you will catch 200 fish per boat, the average is around 80 to 90 fish a day from 4 to 6 lbs, Someone always catches a 8 to 9 lber each trip.
If your into fishing - Oviachic is hands down the best bang for the buck.
I've been twice and will be going back every year.
