I have been power drop shoting, if yall have not done this it is a great way to learn and can be very productive. Also throwing a jig.
Been using a PowerTackle PG104 on 17lb Seaguar flourocarbon using a 4/0 Owner riggin hook with a 10" leader and 1/4 to 3/8oz drop shot weight. Bait has been a 6" robo worm in Martigra mutilator or reaction innovation in Main Vain. I have been catching 50-100 fish days. Targeting docks from 2-6ft of water located around some sort of point. It has not mattered if it was as far back in a creek to main lake, as long as it made a small point.
Jig has been a Blk/blue 3/8 with a blue sapphire trailer loaded down with kick n bass crawfish attractive, they will not let it go. Had a 6.5lber last weekend and lost a 8-9lber that broke me off on a dock.
If your looking for a fun time these techniques have been numbers and quality the last few weeks.
Good luck hope this helps you put fish in the boat this weekend.
