you cant see the boat ramp from the highway,..get on the service road and exit to the right at the soccer fields,..over the hill and down to the ramp.
It was under contruction a few months ago last time I drove over there...what you can see from the highway is bank fishing only...on the south end of the damn.

the ramp on the east side is open now. They improved the parking greatly but for whatever reason, the ramp didn't get much of an upgrade. But that being said, it is an easy launch with docks.

It's a great little lake and close in but, doggone...I sure didn't know anything than ski rigs cannot go any faster than a 'slow idle' ??
The ski rigs go way faster than most or any bass fishermen would go....
Don't understand that one.
Hope the 'security issue's' are better now. Several have reported break-ins and stolen property when away fishing on the lake

If you go, enjoy.....give us a report

BTW: If you will call TPWD they will tell you I'm sure as they have me when I called, there are some really good size bass there.

God Bless and good luck
Lee

The ski club has a lease with TRWD to use that cove. They are exempt from the no wake restriction inside the boundaries of the ski cove.

Never understood the no wake restriction

Not that anyone abides by it anyway.

Probably because its so small and that's how most small lakes are? Just a guess though. I actually wasn't aware it was no wake until recently. Because like others have said it gets ignored all the time.
