I was wondering if anyone has used this rod. Picked one up at academy today but i was meaning to get 6'10 MH but picked up lizard dragger instead which is 7ft H. The rod fill more like mh which is what i am wanting just wondering if anyone has any input on rod.

It's a good rod. As you have already picked up on the action (not power) is slightly slow in that rod. Its good for a swim jig or spinner bait where i prefer a slightly more moderate action. For a lighter t-rig or fluke i do prefer the finess jig ( that's the 6'10", though i throw the cara), or the 7'3" h for a close quarters frog or lighter pitching rig. Assuming you got it at academy on the sale they're running i'd definitely leave it in the arsenal.

Use it, you'll like it!!! I use mine for jig, T-rigged worms, and Carolina rigs. I use the 7 ft Trap Caster for lipless, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and it feels absolutely great for squarebills. You got a great deal from Academy. I took advantage and bought the Finesse rod!
