 Minn Kota 101 stuck wide open

Ever time I hit the switch is wide open. It was working fine ten minutes ago. It does not make a difference if you put the speed on 10 or 70.
Any fix I can do at the lake or do I have to take to the shop

Is there a high bypass switch on the side of the foot peddle?

The best I can remember you can disconnect the hot wire from the switch and tape it up so it doesn't touch. Leave others connects to complete the ground. This may be trial and error to get the right wire. The motor should only run on 3 no faster or slower.

Is it a remote control TM?
I keep 2 extra remotes in the boat. They got triggered accidentally and it took me a few days to figure that one out.
