First question involves an issue in having with my braided line. I put the same braid on two different setups. I've got an revo s on the veritas rod and it the whole time I'm fishing all I can hear is that loud braid rubbing on the eyes of my rod, at least that's what I think it is. And it doesn't make a sound on my other set up.

Question number two is if anyone could attach me a page to help me set up the breaking system on my revo s. I've messed with the brakes a few times but I can't seem to get it back to the smoothness I use to feel

You may have a cracked eye and the braid is dragging on it. On the brakes I run all mine with all brakes in and one out, but you better like it very loose or you will back lash every cast.

get a Q-tip and spin it around inside all the guides, if the cotton snags ya got a bad guide...if not it could just be the harmonics of the rod...try getting some line conditioner and treat the braid, or start whistling to cover the noise...

I use the q tip to clean them every once in a while and to make sure that there aren't any snags

Veritas (gen 1) were notorious for losing the inserts to the guides. If it is all metal, it may "sing". But like said, check for rough spots and replace as needed.

There is such a big difference in the Revo S and one step up, the Revo SX, in quality and castability.

I have an SX that can launch a Yellow Magic and an S that's almost worthless. Heavy lures only on the S. Like you, maybe there's a trick I don't know but I have 6 varieties of Revo and the S stays at home 99% of the time for me.
