this is my first time ordering line off ebay. are the 1000yd spools of red label no longer level wound even though it says it is on the spool?

You just got sold a spool of junk. All red label is level wound.

If you look at ed Label on the Seaguar website, you can see on the package it says "level wound"

Seagaur Red Label is NO LONGER level wound. Noticed that at Bass Pro shops a few months ago. It's also being sold on slightly smaller spools. Same 200 yrd size. Just smaller diameter and NOT level wound.

I went to Walmart and their Red Label is still level wound....at least until the warehouse runs out of stock.

Also, if you buy InvisX on the really large spool, it isn't Level wound either.

Thought I heard somewhere a while back that it was no longer level wound. They need to update their label if that's the case.........

went to fun n sun today and they had about 10 spools of red label. none of them were level wound. only the invizx was. mystery solved!!!!!!!!!!!
