Was fishing lynn creek this evening when my son had a rod go overboard in about 12 ft of water tried to find it for awhile but no luck it is a sentimental rig if anybody comes up with it and could return it to me id be very grateful and even offer a small reward and also if anybody else has had this happen and was able to recover it or fish it up im open for any ideas in trying to get it

A buddy of mine hired a scuba diver for $50 to dive and recover a couple of rigs. Know anybody with scuba gear?

Can use a metal fish stringer... Undo all the clips and tie it to real heavy braid and drag it on bottom. Unless the area has a lot of grass.

The metal fish stringer and opening all of the clips works. I've retrieved a rod the next day after losing it by doing this. Just attach a large crescent wrench or something to the end to hold it on the bottom.

Well tried like hell but didn't come up with it I lost it over by Lynn Creek swimming beach if you're in the water looking at the standing Timber Just to the right of that Timber the wind was blowing pretty good straight at that other little beach across the way if anybody comes up with it and can get it back to me I'd sure appreciate it it's got some sentimental value to it and Id even offer a small reward

If you can post a google earth picture of where you lost it, it would help.

Did it just drop over or did a fish pull it in? If a fish pulled it in, it could be 100 yards away. I hope you find it!!
