Looking for a strong sensitive flippin rod. Im fishing fom a kayak style boat so length needs to be around 7 ft give or take a few inches. The rod will be chunking heavy jigs and rexas rigged baits most everything will be 1/2 oz or bigger. This is needed for heavy grass mats on pinkston and heavy brush at noconiche. The reel I will put on this rod will be lews super duty in 8:1 ratio rigged with braid up to 65lb. The budget is $200 unless a few more dollars will yield a much better product .

Check out Falcon Cara Amistad. Really good all around round that should fit what you are looking at. You should be able to get it for around $200 when Tackle Warehouse has their 4th Of July Sale. Free shipping and no sales tax too.

You may look into the PowerTackle PG104 its a little more then what your price range is but an all out awesome rod or you can get into the Keith Combs series for around your price range.

Falcon Cara T7 I HIGHLY recommend you try the Cara T7 Lizard Dragger or Cara T7 Pro Grass rod. For $189.99 this rod will feel and perform like a $250 rod. These rods are super durable but incredibly light. That'll make it easy on you using it all day, especially from a kayak. You don't want something that's bulky and heavy when you're in a kayak, you want something efficient. Falcon makes high quality rods at exceptionally low prices. If you look at all of the high quality components on a high end Falcon blank, their rods should cost more than what they do. They also have a good warranty and always have great customer service. You really can't go wrong here!

Power Tackle Paragon Series PG104.5 for the knarly stuff or punching mats 20-25lb flouro or 50-65lb braid. One Bad A$$ rod. It has recoil guides and built just for this. For the the not so knarly stuff I would use the PG104. Both are game changers. http://www1.powertackle.com/#powertacklerods

I love my PG104 but I think it is a little soft for what he is wanting to do. I would go to the 104.5 instead if choosing the Power Tackle rod.

Might look at Denali Rods. Their worm/jig rod is stiff with just the right tip. Also the Power Tackle Keith Combs series is an awesome rod. APT has them in stock and they are in your price range.

For those of you suggesting the Lizzard Dragger or the Amistad series in the Falcon rods, where could the OP find them? I ask because I am also interested in these and looked for them on TW but could not find those two specific names, I'm sure this information would be beneficial not just to me but to the OP as well.

Free shipping and no sales tax too. This gets my vote. If you're looking for something a little cheaper, I would look at the Falcon Bucoo 7' 3" heavy. Great bang for the buck in the $130 range or less depending on where you buy it
