Looked like the water wasn't to bad south of the 70 bridge. All the pros are posting pics of the really muddy water but I bet most are fishing the cleaner water from midlake south.

Working close by the boat ramp and on my lunch I drove by the boat ramp just to see what I could see. Edwin was loading his boat and we spoke briefly. He said with the water at its current level it is going to be different even for the ones that know the lake.

It has been decades since Texoma was an 89,000 acre lake. Red silted, Washita silted, all the creeks silted.

It's a shame that the lake is in such poor condition. I think they would of had a great tournament prior to the floods. They still might, but very unlikely. We'll see.

Several guys are catching them quick this morning. Not seeing any of that red mud in the pics.

They are catching them this morning. Swindle and Ashley have 6 pounders and Bobby Lane a 5.

Headed down to spectate tomorrow for the rest of the weekend. The lake was almost 9' high yesterday, but I'm sure they'll catch em. Gonna be a party weekend for sure!

I bet they catch em, that is why they are pros, now it is a shame that the lake is so high that there are not many ramps open for us observers to get out and watch the pros.

There are plenty of ramps open. I only know of a couple that are closed.
