Funny story..
I was having dinner at Mamma B's at lake Fork one evening. The restaurant is very close to the highway 17 bridge so you can see both sides of the lake of Williams Creek. One lady at the table behind me commented on the lake level and said that she knew it was high on the main lake but she had no idea it was this high on back side of the bridge also.

I nearly choked on my burger laughing so hard.

The lake is only full. Even with all the rain it has only been a foot or two above pool for very short periods. I'm glad it doesn't get too full in the back of my cove. My dock would be under water.

I called a store one time for directions! I asked the lady if they were on the north or south side of the road.....she said, "It depends on which direction you're coming from"!

I was buying fried chicken in Alba. I asked how many pieces of chicken came in the family meal. The young lady behind the counter told me there was 2 breast, 2 legs, 2 thighs, and 2 wings. That's 2 whole chickens! I almost asked her how many breast she had? roflmao You would think a county girl would know more about chicken.

One, but she's talking about breast halves. How many legs and wings do two chickens have? Get it?
