Havent been down there in almost 4 years unfortunately, but we were able to catch good fish on the main lake points during the heat of the day. Of course, the lake wasnt so low then either. Good luck down there, it has some big fish in it. Also has some giant gators, we saw one that made us a tad nervous as it swam by haha

Best fishing is down by the dam. There's a few gators down there as well in the arms, they will be a bit spooky; but if you troll in real slow you can get close enough to see them.
Put these coords in your graph and it might keep from ruining your vacation.
Choke canyon hazards
N 28 29.487 iron well head W 98 20.755'
N 28 29.553' W 98 20.124' (concrete tower, boat sinker!)
N 28 28.029' concrete chunks (approx area, Naylors Pond dam) W 98 15.957'

2 of those hazards are of no concern right now since the lake is so low; but one is just getting to the point that it will rip off your lower unit or punch a hole in the boat. Oh and it's going to feel like hell down there with the heat.
