I ran regular 87 octane in mine when I owned one. Depending on age of your VMax and any engine mods, you may need higher octane. Here's all you ever wanted to know.

200sho is 89. 225 and 250 is 93. It's weird. Personally. After break in. I've ran a lot of regular threw all of my engines. 93is best but if your burning a lot of gas regularly. I believe 87 is fine. This is my opinion only!!

Use what the manufacturer of your motor recommends. Simple. V-max:87 octane.
