Howdy y'all, my name is Tyler Anderson and I fish collegeiatly for Texas A&M. We have an FLW regional tournament on Fort Gibson (OK), in a few weeks, and I was curious if anyone could let me in on some secrets of the lake. No spots required(encouraged cough cough*), just knowledge on how to catch em there late April.

Thanks y'all!

Haha. You tube payment, eh?!

Directly across the lake from the main Marina is a stretch of bank. Between the bridge and a little cove with a couple boat houses on it. Caught a bunch of quality fish along that stretch using a watermelon blue trick worm on a shaky head. Also...my favorite spot. Good for 2nd place on day one of BASS, is a branch that extends off the dam. First area to the left when facing the dam. This spot is about an 1/8th mile long and held fish all day. Use too water in the morning, and square bills after about 9-10am. Fish the shadow line.

Also... Biffle Bugs were designed for that lake. It's Biffles home lake. Try the Sooner Run color

It is a beautiful lake. And when I was there, fishing was really good for me.

Good luck!!!

Gig 'em Ags! Class of '00 here. Drop shot the docks! I fished the BASS Open there last year. One day I was paired with Jordan Lee & he put on a clinic doing that. We fished behind folks all day & he still caught a very nice bag.

14mile creek, toppers, rock creek is where you need to prefish and then see what works best. If water is in the willows, Toppers will be the best.
