I have had 2 FX21's and I wanted to know if anyone else is having a problem with the front pedestal loosening up while fishing and having to readjust the hydraulic handle constantly to keep it from poking you in the leg and having to re-tighten your pedestal to the floor. If anyone has a fix for this problem please let me know..thanks

You may have to live with it, my front is the same way.. My back pedestal wasn't used for extended period, I had to take a pipe wrench to remove it..

First thing I do is drill a 1/4 inch deep pilot hole in the small post that is on the bottom of the seat plate. Had a seat blow off almost hit me in the face. The know tighten down snugly in this impression and secures the seat to the pedestal.
This also seems to take care of the handle problem as I make sure it is set to one side or the other before drilling the hole.

Lose poll is always a fix about noon on all my Skeeters.

Ok I will give that a try and see if that works. They need a better design for that up front when I fish out of my buddies Ranger I never have that problem...thanks
