I drove over lake Bonham today and it reminded me a lot of a few lakes i used to fish in East Texas (Gladewater, Gilmer, Lone Star). Just a small lake, with boat docks, cattails etc. I was wondering if it would be worth the drive to fish that lake? any local experts?

I've been meaning to get over there a fish that lake for a while. Occasionally I see posts about good days on here. Looks like a great little lake.

Its a great lake. Gets a lot of pressure on saturdays and sundays, sometimes up to 60 boats. Try coffee mill right up the road, great small lake with no pressure at all and a lot of cover to fish.

very worth the drive, that little lake has some good fish in it and puts out some big sacks.
