I am going to hit one or the other tomorrow, just can't decide which one. What would Yall recommend? I have never fished either one.

Look for me tomorrow @ Whitney and I'll be able to tell you which one I wish I had gone to! :-)

Haha, have you been out there lately? I live a little over an hour from both. Maybe water clarity will help me make my decision. Are both still dirty from the rains?

I'll be on Whitney tomorrow too. On Saturday the water at Whitney looked really good on the south end. It was slightly stained to clear, and on the north end it was pretty stained.

PK is on FIRE right now! Both are great lakes, but it has been taking 25+ lbs to win on PK right now.

I'd go to PK. Once you wade thru the 15-20 dinks you can catch some pretty nice fish. Water is murkey on the north end and 59 degrees as of Saturday.
You never want a drink of water till the well runs dry

Is the north end of PK fishing good again? Its been 3yrs since I have been and it was still recovering from a fish kill and was told to stay in the lower end back then as the bass hadn't fully recovered. Thinking of heading up this week for a day once the wind calms down. If anyone would be willing to PM me any info would be great or any suggestions on sonewhere reasonably priced to stay close to the lake. Thanks.

Well I made the decision to go to Whitney because I went to bed before the responses. I managed to catch a few with about a 4lb being the biggest. Guess I'll give PK a whirl next go round.
