If I unload at Lloyd park are there any certain precautions or is the lake pretty wide open? Never boated on there before. Thx

Pretty much. I always run in between the tree line and bank. Middle of the two. No marked lanes. Going to walnut creek I take it easy if it's your first time.

On the LLoyd park side, you can see most of the trees. Stay between them and the bank headed towards the bridge and it is safe pretty much until you get to the bridge on the other side of the lake. There is a really long point that shoots pretty far out into the lake that you'll need to watch for near the dam. Easy lake to run, not too many hidden dangers on most of the lake.

they cleared all the trees above the bridges towards the dam. as long as you stay off the shoreline and watch the points you're good to go on joe pool. I always take it pretty easy if i go past the bridges cause no timber was cleared south of them when the lake was made.
