Thinking about trying it on the seats of my boat to help keep them clean and protect them from the sun. It doesn't say anything about marine use, but I'm just checking to see if anyone has used it before and if so, what'd ya think?

Thanks

I wouldn't put that stuff on ANYTHING! Haha. Think about it.... And oil based product on your seats. What do you fry fish in? It will cause more damage than it can possibly prevent. Just wipe em down with water and mild detergent every so often.

Anyone use Lucas slick mist on their vinyl? Works great on the glass. Kinda reluctant to spray the seats and dash

yep. Good stuff. It's water based and doesn't cause additional damage.

As long as it doesn't have alcohol in it it'll probably be ok.

303 Aerospace Protectant is the stuff you want. There is also a product made by Lexol called Vinylex (which is available at a lot of auto part stores) that is also a works well on vinyl.

What D Miner said! I just bought my Champion a new set of seat covers from Llebroc Ind and they have a list of do's and don'ts concerning cleaning and care for them. The biggest don't is using silicone based products on them.

I can't remember all of the recommended products they suggest, but 303 Aerospace Protectant is one. Llebroc is a BBC board sponsor and it's listed on their website
