Anyone know how the lake is fishing right now?or the water temp?..Went a couple weekends ago and got skunked. Think its because they still have gates open on the dam?

Gates are closed and fishing has been slow for a while. Off colored to muddy in some areas and fairly clear by dam. Water temp around 50 to 58, lots of willows in water on shore line as well as under docks. I have been hearing they are catching some very shallow but scattered. There should be some big mamas out a little deeper getting ready to move up real soon if the warm weather holds up and water stays warm. But as Texas goes we haven't had a winter yet! Wait for it, it's coming next month.
