Ok so I'm down to these three... I played with a new curado... and partially against my better judgment... I'm thinking I may try shimano again... E's and G's were [censored]... But this new one, it is peaking my interest... (PS ANYBODY WITH CURADO 200DHSV'S PM ME I WILL PROBABLY BUY)

Chronarch in a 7.6x1 is winning right now....

Rocket is in the hunt

Curado would get the nod if they had an 7.5x1 or higher...

Also Saw this JDM Revo, the "Elite 8" at academy for sale for 309, normally 379...

Don't mention lews, I have one, Its fine but I'm trying something else this time...

Anybody have experience with the New Chronarch specifically? Or any of the others really....

Maybe I should wait until I-cast... Prices may move around... and new things come out... hmmmm

if you are looking for high speed why not check the Zillion 9.1?

Ci4 is an awesome reel. If you go up, the Metanium is killer! Also a Zillion TWS is a great reel as well!

Left shimano after they came out with the previous curado series. Got one of the new ones and I'll be getting more.

I've got (3)Chronarch C14+. Awesome reels. The (2) 7.6:1 is my favorite high speed. reel. Smooth delivery and retrieve.
Drag system is stout. I really like the brake control on the underneath portion of the side plate.Easy to dial in and
Micro adaptations are right on. The 6.3:1 is very versatile reel and very good on Carolina rig and Texas rigs.

I can only speak for Shimano and the ci4 would get the nod, you may be the only person I've heard that doesn't like the E series Curado. The new I series is a great reel also.

Cause I bought a tactual-r and am not impressed.. and it is more expensive... and reviews one Chronarch are typically better than zillion this go round.

If somebody wants to gift me a Metanium I'm IN, or sell me a solid used one if you didn't like it maybe?... but I don't have that kind of bank role. Chronarch/rocket is STEATCHING the budget.

I found a place with a chronarch I'm gona go play with today... see how it feels in my hand

I haven't owned a curado since the D series... last one worth a dang except for maybe this I is an improvement over the E and G, but not over the D. Heck look at the reviews that score by numbers (tackle tour specifically), the D series has a higher score than even the I's... there is a reason. They feel better, cast farther adjust easier, better gears, and fit my hand better(I hate where they moved the gear box). yeah, they are heavier, but I'll take that all day every day. weight doesn't bother me when the whole thing works better.

I can't imagine anyone who thought the E Series reels were garbage.

You can use the Ci4 in multiple applications. I have cores but would rather use my Ci4 with light baits.
