Looking for power plant lake open during the week, I know about squaw Creek looking for something else to fish next week . Thanks! I live in Fort Worth don't mind driving up to 3 or so hours away.

And FYI- I am being sarcastic. Very good lake. Just gets a lot of pressure.

From what I hear it's a dink-fest, have to work for bigger fish, but they're there and can be caught.

Welsh is where you should go. About 3 hrs from you but worth it. Public ramp and open every day.

Both Bastrop and Fayette are good choices. Will most likely catch em on either. Big fish in both too

Gibbon's Creek is a decent lake with a variety of structure and cover to make things interesting.

Sorry, re-read original post. Gibbon's Creek is only open on the weekends.
