I was going to wait until January to start posting fishing reports, but I thought I would go ahead and start relaying the info. Today we fished Lake Welsh and did well with several overs. Tons of fish on the grass lines. Most of the fish came on texas rigged red bug and plum worms, watermelon/red wacky rigged trick worms and flukes rigged weightless. The water is still a bit stained compared to normal due to all of the recent rains, but overall the lake is in good shape. We did better during the day using the dead sticking technique. Fun day on a fun lake for this time of year. Well back to Lake Fork tomorrow, and then I have trips on Fork and Welsh next week.
