I have been on Lavon only once and because this lake is in my back yard, I want to practice there more. I have a few days off between Christmas and New Years and will be exploring the lake. I have only been east of Collin Park and the dam area. Is the west end of Lavon, pretty much a idle area? My local club never fishes Lavon, but this lake will give me an opportunity to learn a few more skills.

Thanks for any response.

I haven't found anything that I truly like over there, but I haven't explored much of it. Lets meet up and do some graphing pretty soon.

Sounds good! Got a new Minn Kota trolling motor Fortrex, so it will be SWEET! Fighting that Motorguide wore me out.

I moved to Wylie last year and have yet to be on that lake. If you have an open seat I would love to join and learn a little about the lake.

Check out the creek and road bed North of Brockdale park and take a hard look at Snake creek.

There are some good stumps on the east bank of the west fork.

Make sure to check boat ramp availability. No ramps are open right now due to the high water.
