Hey guys, had a question, bought a house on the lake and left my boat in the water most of September and October. It was nice coming home from work and getting in an hour of so of fishing, but when I pulled my boat out,the algae and crud on my hull and lower part of my motor was so thick, I couldnt get it to come off. Before I moved to the lake, I always wiped my boat down when I pulled it out of the water. Now it's caked on pretty good. What do ya'll recommend to clean it off? Someone suggested Penetrol, from a auto store, need some advice. Thanks again for the help.

If your hull is white then FSR (Fiberglass Stain Remover) is crazy awesome! I got a bottle at Academy and it works phenominly well. If your hull is not white do not use this product. It has some sort of bleaching agent that will fade a black hull.

It is VERY easy to use. You simply wipe it on, let it sit a few minutes, and then wipe it on or rinse it off.

I assure you it is one of, if not the very best, products on the market.

Been using Tarn X for years on my white hulls. Wipe it on and there is no waiting, wipe it right back off.

I've used both the FSR and Tarn X on white hulls and they work great!
