Light line and finesse soft plastics are my favorite way to catch fish. I have been using mend it and JJ's magic to modify soft plastic lures. This one is one of my more promising creations. Green pumpkin huddlebug dipped in chartreuse JJ's magic, with watermelon zoom speed claws.

Feel free to post any modifications you like to make to soft plastic lures! Here are some similar ones I made:

Moritz Chevrolet - 9101 Camp Bowie W Blvd, Fort Worth, TX - Monte Coon (817) 696-2003

Good looking stuff. I also like finesse presentations-less chance of bass getting conditioned to the presentation.

They make one that you don't need to dip chart. ,but they sell out as fast as they come in. I looked at every place in Central Texas for them. I have the product number in my truck, other wise I post it. Use as light of weight as you can get away with. I fish it on 50lb braid.

I am blessed to have a opportunity to live a childhood dream as a professional wrestler

Nice... I have to order them from tacklewarehouse, never seen the watermelon.

Side note, Zooms green pumpkin is pretty much brown but if you dip it in JJ's it becomes an awesome green pumpkin/watermelon.

Hey Balazs, do you use any Z man plastics? I'm really trying to get into finesse fishing more and I've been throwing a lot of the ned rig with various z man stuff on it. It all works to some extent. The TRD worm and hula stick more so than the others. The speed crawz they make works damn well too, it stands straight up with the claws waving.

Not really. I threw the crusteaz on a 1/32 ounce shroom head and they had multi species capabilities but the colors are limited and they have to be stored in clamshell plastic... that proved to be too annoying. I like the hula stickz but I preferentially throw senkos and rattlesnakes. Ned rig is OK but 3'' stick baits on drop shot and weightless works better for me because I can fish them weedless. For whatever reason, I have extremely good luck with zoom speed craws so I see no reason to switch to a similar bait. When I want a different profile/ bigger craw style bait I throw a pit boss. Don't forget the huddle bug either.
