November Update:

Evaporation for November = 2.91 inches.

Water Released Downstream for Communities by the SRA for November = 267,835,082 gallons or 822 acre-feet or about 0.03 feet taken off the lake's surface.

Water Pumped by Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) for November = 2,787,480,000 gallons or 8,555 acre-feet or about 0.295 feet off the surface of the lake.

Even though evaporation slowed greatly in November it still represents by far the greatest loss of water from the lake. I was surprised that DWU pumped 93 million gallons per day from Lake Fork for November, but the good news is they have turned the pumps off for awhile as we move into the low demand months for water. Currently they are drawing water from Tawakoni to meet their East Operations needs.

Year to Date Through November:

Evaporation for the year through November = 72.41 inches or 6.03 feet.

Water Released Downstream for Communities by the SRA for the Year through November = 2,347,865,082 gallons or 7,205 acre-feet, which is about 0.249 feet off the lake's surface.

Water Pumped by Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) for the Year through November = 16,289,900,000 gallons or 49,992 acre-feet, which equals about 1.72 feet off the lake's surface.

Water Released Downstream by the SRA through the Flood Gates when the Lake was overfull from Rain through November = 162,736.2 acre-feet of about 5.6 feet taken off the lake's surface.

So, for the year through November about 13.6 feet of water have been removed from the lake through evaporation, releases and pumping. Thanks to abundant lake inflows from an unbelievable year of rainfall the lake is currently above full pool.
