Thinking about going to Palestine in the am. I was there twice last weekend but caught nothing but a few dinks. Does any one know what the water clarity is up North in Flat & Kickapoo? I am determined to find the fish. I really need to learn the north end of this lake. Thanks anyone for any help and advise.

I went to old folks this morning, got to within 20 yards of where I wanted to start and heard a shotgun blast. I turned around and ran south, glad I did because it got pretty nautical on the main lake around 7:30. No duck hunting south of 155 allowed. Just something to note.
Other than that, chatterbait, trap and swimbait as mentioned above is pretty solid advice.

Everything I was catching early seems to be biting in the afternoon better now. May give that a shot if you have not. Water has been getting pretty cool at night. Good Luck

No duck hunting south of the 155. A couple of weeks ago there were 3 hunter in Ledbetter just blasting away.
I agree with chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. I had been catching fish in the back third of the coves 2 weeks ago, in the mid lake area.
Good luck

Good luck I'm not 100% on the regs since I haven't hunted there in years but technically highsaw and Ledbetter creeks are on the north side of 155.
