Wanted to do something different with the plastic boxes; Found a Home Depot solution to my bass fishing organization challenges; modified it a bit with some Plano storage boxes; Just need some labels and I'm set.

I need to get me a label maker. It's hard for me to tell which one of my 6 Plano boxes is what. Haha, kayak problems.

Label makers are useful, but it's a lot simpler to just write on some masking tape with a permanent marker.

I wish I had enough tackle to require a storage tower. Need to work on that...

I agree....labels fall off....sharpies are the best IMO....WD40 will erase the writing, if you need to reuse them for a different lure type...

Some soft baits (like my inventory of horny toads) get a box; I keep out a bag and transfer as i need to based on season.

Lizards, i do same thing; all based on color.

The Senkos have a home on some peg board on the wall; it was the cheapest solution and looks very organized.

FYI: Office Max has an excellent Brother label maker that is usually 59 for $19; Just don't buy the labels there (even if on sale); go to amazon and get them on the cheap; I think the 1/2 inch waterproof and sun proof are going to be too big so will experiment with the 1/4 inch; will post some pics once we have the Dewey Decimal System of Bass fishing completed smile

I fish a lot from a Frog Boat (I don't get as wet as you do, only difference); I use a plastic (office max again) file box that is perforated all over; i set the boxes i want in 2/3 of the box and set in the boat.

Then, I have 3 'cinch sacks' (like what the kids use to take clothes for PE) and put different themes in each sack, and i use a different color sack depending on what is in there (Swim vs. Senko vs. Creature), so i always know when i reach in that it is full of senkos/etc.; When it is time to load or unload, i just grab the box and i'm off.

IF something was hot, then i re-stock from the peg board once i get home; if it was a dud, i take out all but 1 bag of that soft plastic from the sack.

You could easily do same thing in Kayak with some bungee, etc.

Thanks for posting that, I am making one similar, but it will be fastened to the wall. That should solve one of my clutter problems in my garage!
I will try to post a picture when finished.
